Which Google Workspace plan should you choose?
Start with the work you need to keep doing. How much email and file storage do you use? Do you record meetings? Do you need to retain information for a defined period? A short list of requirements is more useful than choosing the plan with the most features.
The Business editions support up to 300 users. For a company-domain setup, you also need access to verify the domain. Buying a subscription and connecting your existing email are separate steps.
- Starter: business Gmail, shared documents and 30 GB of pooled storage per licensed user.
- Standard: 2 TB of pooled storage per licensed user and additional Meet features, including recording.
- Plus: 5 TB of pooled storage per licensed user, with Vault and additional management controls. Those controls still need configuration.
Pooled storage is a shared company allowance
Pooled storage combines the storage supplied by eligible licences into an organisation-wide allowance. It is used across services such as Gmail and Drive; it is not a separate allowance for every application. An administrator can manage how it is shared.
Check current usage and expected growth before choosing. Large mail archives, video files and meeting recordings can change the calculation. Also decide where shared business files should live and who will own them when a member of staff leaves.
Read the billing term beside the price
The comparison shows the current Cloudfusion licence offers in South African rand, excluding VAT. The monthly row and annual-upfront row have different billing periods. The annual figure is the full charge for one user for a year, paid upfront; it is not a monthly debit.
Review the commitment and cancellation terms for the selected offer before ordering, particularly if staff numbers may change. The final quantity and total are reviewed in your Cloudfusion billing account before payment.
The subscription price and implementation work are separate. Domain registration, migration, staff setup, training and ongoing managed support are agreed separately where needed. Check what you already own before paying for overlapping services.
Already have Google Workspace?
Keep the existing service active and ask us to check the account before placing a new order. We need to establish the current edition, billing arrangement, renewal or commitment, domain and administrator access. A purchase should not accidentally create a second business environment.
Changing reseller and moving data to a different Google environment are different tasks. A reseller change depends on the account and applicable transfer requirements. We confirm the available route before you cancel or replace anything.
Moving from IMAP, POP or another email service
You can usually plan a move while keeping your company email addresses, provided the domain and destination setup are suitable. Agree how mailboxes, shared addresses, old messages, calendars and contacts will be handled before changing mail delivery.
POP mail can exist only on a computer, rather than in the current provider’s mailbox. Check those devices before the move. For every migration, agree a representative test, the changeover, staff sign-in instructions and what must be verified before retiring the old service.
- List users, shared addresses and the data that must be retained.
- Confirm access to the domain, existing mail service and Google administration.
- Check any Outlook workflows, business applications and devices the team relies on.
- Agree the work, its price and the person responsible for each change before starting.
What happens after you order?
Payment and a ready-to-use Google Workspace setup are different milestones. We check the order and business account before arranging activation. Domain verification, mailbox migration and staff setup may need their own agreed work.
Assign someone to manage account access, shared files, recovery settings and new starters. If you need retention policies or additional protection, agree the configuration and ongoing responsibilities. Vault retention is not a substitute for a backup and recovery plan.
Tell us about any existing subscription or migration before ordering. We can help check the plan and scope the implementation or ongoing support separately.
